Last updated: April 22, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By engaging Sitebolt for website design and development services, you agree to these terms. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Sitebolt. "You" and "client" refer to the person or business purchasing our services. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

Services

Sitebolt provides custom website design and development services for small businesses. Our standard offering includes:

The specific scope of work for your project will be based on the information you provide through our intake form and any subsequent communications.

Payment Terms

Project Timeline

Our standard turnaround is 14 business days from the date we receive your completed intake form and deposit. This timeline assumes:

Delays caused by late content, extended feedback cycles, or scope changes may extend the timeline. We will communicate any expected delays promptly.

Revisions

Your project includes two rounds of revisions after the initial design is presented. A revision round includes reasonable adjustments to layout, colors, fonts, images, and content placement within the agreed scope.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included two may be subject to additional charges, which we will communicate before proceeding. Major changes to the project scope (adding new pages, features, or functionality not in the original agreement) are considered change orders and will be quoted separately.

Client Responsibilities

To keep your project on track, you agree to:

Intellectual Property

Your website is yours. Upon receipt of full payment, you own the completed website design, code, and all custom assets we create for your project. This includes:

We retain the right to display your completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party assets (stock photos, fonts, icons from external libraries) remain subject to their respective licenses.

Hosting and Maintenance

Our services cover website design and development. Ongoing hosting, domain registration, and maintenance are the client's responsibility unless a separate arrangement is agreed upon. We are happy to recommend hosting providers and assist with initial deployment.

Limitation of Liability

Sitebolt provides websites on an "as-is" basis upon delivery. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Termination

By the client: You may cancel your project at any time by notifying us in writing at hello@sitebolt.co. If work has already begun, the deposit is non-refundable. You will receive any work completed up to the point of cancellation.

By Sitebolt: We reserve the right to terminate a project if the client is unresponsive for more than 30 days, engages in abusive behavior, or requests work that is illegal or unethical. In such cases, we will refund any payment for undelivered work.

Inactive Projects

If a project stalls due to lack of client response for more than 30 days, we may place it on hold. Projects on hold for more than 90 days may be closed. Restarting a closed project may require a new deposit and is subject to current pricing and availability.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The terms in effect at the time you engage our services will apply to your project.
